A good basic recipe.
Ingredients
• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup milk
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Combine all ingredients and beat until well-mixed. Bake on a hot griddle and serve with fruit or syrup.
