INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 2 t baking soda
- ½ t salt
- 2/3 cup of each:
- milk chocolate chips
- semi-sweet chips
- peanut butter chips
- butterscotch chips
- vanilla chips
- *can substitute pecans, toffee chips, etc.
DIRECTIONS
- In a mixing bowl cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet, being careful that each cookie has a variety of chips.
- Bake at 350˚F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned on the edges and not quite set in the middle. Let cool for 1-2 minutes on the baking sheet, then remove onto a cooling rack.
